Born in Zimbabwe (1966), Sabrina Henry is a documentary photographer who now resides in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. Her practice integrates photography, history, and the philosophy of art to probe the connections between community and the past (memory and narrative), and to visually record those relationships and their importance today.

Sabrina began her practice in earnest under the mentorship of sculptor and photographer Raymond Ketcham, and together in 2011 they co-founded the ART Workshops in Port Townsend culminating in an artist residency with SPACE on Ryder Farm in Brewster, New York in 2015. Today ART Alumni continue to share their vision and voice on art and issues that matter in Australia, Canada and the United States.

Currently Sabrina is finishing up work on documenting a local figure skating club and becoming increasingly obsessed with making books.
