photo of the day: if walls had ears

June 27, 2012  |  photo of the day

Nothing amazing here folks just a quick snapshot from my newest baby, the Olympus OM-D EM-5. It arrived last week after more than two months on the waiting list and not a moment too soon. The D700 has taken a recuperative vacation to Nikon Canada to fix the damaged sustained by a drop at the Night Market a few weeks ago.

I am having a lot of fun with my newest camera. It is everything that the reviews said it would be and it will be the perfect addition for my trip to Asia later this year.

  1. The reviews of it look good. But … it all depends on the photographer!! A light camera is great for travelling, and way less intrusive if you are wanting to do some street photos etc in China. Have fun with your new baby!

  2. Excellant! It has a sort of Norman Rockwell feel.

  3. Yikes, that wallpaper! :)

    Love the shot, looks cool.

  4. Hey Sab, they, say a picture is worth a thousand words, but often times for me, a picture is worth – well – maybe not a thousand pictures, but certainly a nostalgic few. I’m not one for hunting game but these deer bring up images of, after 30 plus years, the family ranch in Zimbabwe, the humble homestead, with its long veranda and the hunt for impala. The newspaper with the word “Eaton” has us back in Winnipeg, having a department lunch with dad. It was always a treat to get a department store lunch! As for that typewriter, well, it’s a reminder, that I should spend time doing more writing!
