snippets from a bulldog’s life
Seattle loves bulldogs. Actually the city is a wonderful place for photographing dogs in general but during this visit the bulldogs caught my eye. Ugly but loveable and full of personality, they are very comfortable in their own skin. How enviable. Dogs have their own life philosophy and maybe we humans could take a page out of their book. Take for instance my friend Julie who has two bassets, Fortnum and Mason. Julie regularly blogs about this pair and has a wonderful gallery here. Attentive readers will remember Julie from her guest post on my blog back in August. If you haven’t checked out her blog, make sure you pop by.

Aww, thanks for the shout out Sabrina. How did you know that if it hadn’t been bassets it would have been an English Bulldog I’d have in my pack? They are wonderful creatures and a little like bassets their beauty is in their dwarfish characteristics, wrinkles and like to snuffle along (a little like a pig!). My sister who lives in Seattle has a boxer dog which whilst adorable they just don’t cut it for me like a bulldog does.
ha! that’s cool. images to make ya smile.
