photo of the day – the lighting of the tree

Only two more weeks until Christmas break! I am looking forward to a couple of weeks off to catch up on ten million things I have to do. Here’s an image I had in mind that turned out better than I expected. Trying to show the lighting of a Christmas tree in one image is not easy. This is the closest I can come to show how that feels. The mother with her son in front of the tree is the bonus. He was looking at the pictures his mother took of him in front of the tree. I don’t think there is a single pixel that is in focus in this image but to me, it doesn’t matter one iota. For other images from the lighting of the tree, check out my friend Don’s blog here.

Love it, Sabrina. That’s how tree lighting still makes me feel. You have caught the magic.
