photo of the day – waiting

I had to stop and photograph this scene at the back of Undertown coffee shop in Port Townsend last weekend. The dog and the bike brought a smile to my face as I was reminded of my friend Julie and our two projects at the Magnum workshop earlier this year. I like that sometimes photographs are about recalling a whole experience rather than remembering any one particular moment in time. Julie, this one is for you!

    Both the dog and the bicycle waiting! I also like the line going to the bottom right corner. No coincidence I think :-)

      Funny thing Eli, I didn’t even notice that line until I was processing the image. Maybe the brain sees things, the eye does not? Has that ever happened to you?
