I have a few images from our time at the next stop on our tour of San Francisco. Today I thought I’d share this scene that shows many of the elements you see throughout Chinatown…wall murals, clothes hanging out the windows, stairs on the outside of buildings, and of course restaurants galore. Although I converted it to black and white, it did look pretty good in colour as well. More about Chinatown in my next post!

Wonderful shot Sabrina, love it in B&W
Thanks Josh…that’s a real compliment coming from you!
I love this shot – incredibly detailed, but each piece contributing to tell a story about the whole.
I wondered if there was too much detail which is why I took it into B&W. I’m glad you like it!
I love the shapes and shadows in this image. The black and white treatment is a really good choice. This is definitely a moment I didn’t see. Wish I had.
Lucky you Dorothy, you can go back
Thanks!
This image screams China Town. With the B&W it is to focus on the many details.
LOL…now I can hear it
A wonderful looking image for its busy look with all that detail.
Welcome Andrew and thank you! Hope to see you around here again…
To me, that is Chinatown. Well done!
Cheers Jeff….and when are we going to see your images?!
