It’s that time of year again; the snow geese have arrived at the bird sanctuary. I’ve been wanting to get down there for a while now and finally yesterday I had a chance to pop in for about an hour. The strong fall colours are missing this year so it’s just a sea of mostly white and green. Enjoy!

Looks like you had a fantastic time, even if it was short. Good on you for taking advantage of even small slices of time.
Thanks Erin. Having time will be a challenge in the weeks ahead so I have to think in smaller increments. Truth is I feel like I’m not photographing enough to really improve.
Beautiful Sabrina
Cheers Mike!
That is a lot of snow geese. I can almost hear their constant chatter and the fluttering of wings as some lift off. Well done and glad you made it to the bird sanctuary. Ever wonder why they call it sanctuary?
That’s funny Monte! When I was there, I wished I had a recorder because of the sounds. Think of this image times five and that’s how many snow geese there were.
I love the perspective of this image, Sabrina. Snow geese for days. That’s a sight I’d like to see.
The banding of the two colours just called to me, Dorothy and I couldn’t resist.
Oh wow – that’ a lot of geese!!!
