Well done. Special that you were in NYC today. The roses shot is so sublime.
Thanks Mark. I was going to add in the roses images I shared earlier on Twitter. I may still add it in or do a separate post as there is a story behind it that made me weep.
wonderful Sabrina. Can’ wait to hear the story behind your twitpic. Cannot wait to hear about your first visit to NYC on this weekend. I cry every year on this day. I agree with Mark on the roses shot.
I truly miss laying on the benches at the bottom of the towers and just staring up.
It was a strange day, Sue, I think because I’d never been to NYC before but had heard so much about this event and the memorials each year since. I felt like a part of it and yet seeing it today, I was experienced it for the first time. Photographing around the site was surreal. There’s more to come in another post.

The roses one is especially touching . .. lost a school chum in this horrific deed. I am sure it has been a deep spiritual experience to be there for the anniversary . .. what a tragic waste of so many good lives and an event that just served to deepen the divisions. Soooo sad.
we will never forget them, our heroes lost Sep, 11th. They will always be in our minds !
I say NO to GROUND ZERO MOSQUE, please, let our sacred place rest in peace.
Awesome, young lady! Looking forward to a write-up on your trip and a few more images. I agree the roses stop and hold me. Well done!
Sabrina,
This is very nice work. I’m a little jealous…;)
