skagit valley tulip festival
I have a lot of images from the tulip festival but I won’t assault you with them all. This is one of my favourites. When I see tulips at the store, I won’t look at them in the same way again. There is a whole new appreciation for the people who are involved in the process and for that reason, I love tulips even more than I did before I visited the tulip festival.

This is good Sabrina, it was fun to watch you work from the other side of the field. I just knew you were getting some great images. I too have a greater appreciation for what it takes to get flowers to market. Although I am still in color overload.
Thanks Ray. I glad I was entertaining to watch! LOL…I was so engrossed in photographing that I was completely oblivious to you watching me. And yes we need to dial down the colour but at least for me, not just yet
Very nice shot…the tulips are in full bloom here too. As a kid, each spring we would pick lilacs and peonies for the house. Can’t beat the smell of a great lilac bush…;)
Oh John, if only our pictures could be scratch and sniff! Peonies are also one of my favourite flowers. I can’t wait until they bloom later this year.
Beautiful shot. Great composition!
This feels like the perfect moment to capture. With his face tucked in behind the flowers, you can read this image many different ways. He looks equally lost in thought and shy. Trying to read this image keeps me looking at it. Nice
Honestly, you can’t amp up the color too much for me. I really like the subdued color on her against the vivid colors of the field.
Absolutely beautiful! I like how you didn’t boost the color too much. love it!
