As I mentioned yesterday I am nearing the end of my posts dedicated to my African safari. I’m sure you’ve all had your fill over the past five weeks and you are ready to move on with me. I thought I’d wrap things up with a slideshow of my images some of which you will have seen before while some are new. This is the first time I’ve compiled my images into a slideshow. It isn’t difficult to do. I used Soundslides, a web-based tool to organize my images, sync them to music, and publish them to the Web. Crank up the volume and enjoy!

Sabrina, this is absolutely wonderful. Such terrific photographs…plus that great music! It really captured the spirit, I believe. Well done.

Brilliant and now one of my all time favorite slide shows. The images are stunning and tie together really well. Music couldn’t be better for this show. Sabrina this is really really well done.
BEAUTIFUL! Great slideshow! The music was perfect! Aren’t these fun to put together?
They sure are, Sue. Now I know why you do love to do these!
Very nice, Sabrina! I’ll echo everyone else about the music and the images. Well done!
Very cool slide show. Nice job…
Wow!! What a great show. Wonderful images and perfect music
Thank you for sharing this with us
Dave
I’ll do a little more of a show and tell on Friday and bring some extra images as well. Looking forward to getting together with you and David!
Love this, Sabrina! Great idea for a summary of your trip, and as everyone else has said, the music was perfect! I’ve really enjoyed seeing this trip through your eyes.
Very nice Sabrina. Excellent choice of music and great pictures. Now that you’ve posted your pictures and thoughts, I wonder have your thoughts changed from the first post after your trip? I suspect so. I found there was a definite warmth in the pictures of the people, I liked that a lot.
Thanks Ken. I’ve finally written the bookend to the first post after my trip. I appreciate all the encouragement from people like yourself and I hope you know what a big part of my learning you’ve all become.
Thanks everyone for the comments. I’m so pleased you enjoyed my first slideshow. I hope to find a way to incorporate this tool into future posts as a way of telling a story not just as a summary.
Nicely done, Sabrina! I think the only drawback with slide shows is that it’s difficult to comment on shots I liked in particular. Small price to pay for all the enjoyment I got out of it though.
That’s a great point, Erin. I think next time I will number each slide in the caption and then if there are any in particular you’d like to comment on, you could just reference them by the number.
You always give me wonderful ideas–thank you!
Well done Sabrina! It brings back lots of memories
