the last hurrah

Forty percent chance of showers today, they said. I just love it when the weather man is wrong but especially when I am at the Van Dusen Gardens for my monthly shoot. It’s been dreary most of the week so I wasn’t quite expecting the beautiful fall day we had. In my mind I was thinking of photographing the gardens getting ready for their winter sleep but I was in for a treat that I’ll call “the last hurrah“. Enjoy!
