I’ve been off line for a few days due to my travel and social schedule but the world keeps turning so here are some updates…
-
Pete Souza, the official White House photographer, has popped a signed copy of his latest book in the mail. In his email he mentioned that he was in Ottawa on Thursday; I can’t believe that I missed his visit there! He does have his photos up on the White House site so drop by to have a peek at life in one of the cities where I work–of course things were a little more chaotic.

David duChemin is now following me on Twitter! Regular readers of my blog will know that I’ve been following David’s work. I admire not only his photography and his writing but the motivation behind his work. In a few weeks there will be a Vancouver Pixelated Image Blog get together on March 14; I can’t wait…

My brother-in-law has leapfrogged me and upgraded from a Nikon D40 to a D90. There are sure to be more shootouts in the future so stay tuned.

I’ve made some minor changes to my blog:
~ I removed one of the links on my Blog Roll. I follow these links very carefully as want to include sites I believe not only contain valuable information but also maintain a degree of professionalism. The author of this site was not kind to readers of his blog and his entries on Twitter also reflected someone who thought more highly of himself that than people who are in part responsible for his success.
~ Now that my blog world is flat (as my sister declared when this became a public blog), I have removed the status update.
That’s all for today!
