This week I start my next PPSOP class and so I am trying to finish up my self-study in Camera RAW. Today I managed to get through the lessons on converting to black and white and working on portraits. Unfortunately I can’t post the portrait files I worked on because I would need a signed release from my sister and I don’t think that’ll happen. So here are the Before and After photos of my conversion to black and white. Notice that the After photo isn’t really black and white but more the sepia tones sometimes seen in older photos. Camera RAW is great because you can control hue and saturation even in black and white and the result is an image like this.
